International Cooperative License Program Overview

  2. Status • Since 11/97, processed over 1,300 ICL requests for over 1,500,000 items worth over $105M, $40M in last 12 months • Reviewed over 150 IVL applications • Processed 39 General NRC Licenses for nuclear sources

  3. Status (cont.) • Successful Commerce compliance reviews of ICL activities at LANL, SNL, DOE/HQ, ANL, and Y-12, None since 9/11/01 • Added 98 consignees to the ICL • Added 2 new users - NNSI & ORNL • Updated ICP six times • Submitted 10 semi-annual assurance reports

  4. Issues • Sharing sensitive technology • Assurances for three years after complete site • Transfer custody of assurance documents
