Strong leadership in partnership with clinicians became our mantra and we advised leaders to…. • Be inspirational and champion change • Relentlessly promote a shared vision • Empower where possible and give clear direction and support when needed • Plan for real/involve stakeholders openly and honestly • Walk the talk • Promote a can do will do culture • Listen analyse, plan and act • Celebrate success and give credit where its due • Accept and understand emotions and behaviour but work through them with people to achieve the vision • And…
