  3. 3 Day Energy MAP Programmes • Irish Medical Devices Energy MAP • 9 Participants • 3 Days Completed • All Site Visits Completed • Pharmachemical Ireland Energy MAP • 14 participants • 2 Days Completed • Site Visits 75 % completed • 1 Day remaining in January 08

  4. Energy MAP Programmes • IBEC Food & Drink Group • 13 participants – 11 attended Day 1 • 6 of these from Connacht Gold • 1 Day Completed • Site Visits plan being finalised • Site Visits to be largely completed before end November • Corrugated Paper Energy MAP in Planning Stage

Transport Update • IRHA – Irish Road Haulage Association • 10 members completed assessments • 6 ready and waiting for training • CILT – Chartered Institute of Transport & Logistics • 2 completed assessments • Savings mainly in warehouses • Immediate savings identified on all sites visited • All sites have great difficulty with fuel management and reporting

Next steps • IRHA EnergyMAP training program • January 2008 – 6-12 participants • CTTC – Coach Tourism Transport Council of Ireland • In discussion regarding training • ECOdrive services available now • Nationwide – Irish instructors • Transport EnergyMAP • Update to web content due end November

Site Visits • No requirement to repeat the diagnostic • Work with the participant to help with Homework from Day 1 • Bills Analysis • Significant Energy Users • Provides a start to their Register of Opportunities • Homework from Day 2 along with • Preparing an Energy Management Programme • Writing a Project Charter • Review how they are Measuring/Estimating Significant Energy Users

  8. Conclusion • Energy MAP programme is going very well • Participants are enthusiastic • Savings are being made from the start • Bills Analysis • Penalties are VERY Common ! • Companies like the STRUCTURED Approach • Site Visits are critical part of the programme
