  3. Lesson Focus: Cause and Consequence Charles I – What was he like? In our other lessons we have looked at James I and the Gunpowder Plot, it is now 1625 and Charles I (James’ son) becomes King. Input: Look at your information sheet and pick out some details about what Charles I and the problems he faced then record them on your profile sheet! Stuck? –See if the person next to you can help, if not put your hand up and ask for help! Finished? –Think about why his personality and life style might cause problems, and write your ideas on your sheet.
