Car Crashes are the Leading Cause of Death and Injury for Teens in the United States"Distracted Driving Simulators will be in the Aux Gym on Thursday, February 21. • Seniors, Juniors and Sophomores may go during Physical Education classes, Health classes, Study Halls, and Lunch. • See Mrs. B for more information.

  4. There will be a Turbo Jam Workout Friday the 22nd, after school from 3-3:45pm outside the Donahue Pavilion. •  All are welcome, wear workout clothes, and please BE ON TIME.

  5. OC Softball Open Gym • Monday, February 25 at 4:30  • Thursday February 28, from 3-5  • See Mr. Kornosky in room 202 for any questions

  6. Class of 2013 Scholarships Reported Class of 2013 You Did It! You hit the $10 million scholarship goal... $10,014,116. as of February 19th Can you beat the Class of 2012 record of $14,643,708.???

  7. Pittsburgh PiratesCatholic School Night Friday, May 31 at 7:05 Order Forms for Tickets are available in the office.

  8. Congratulations, Alex Delazio • Alex has qualified for the President’s Volunteer Service Award based on her number of volunteer hours. This award is part of the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards Program.

  9. This Friday, come to Gilda's Club in the Strip District to support your classmates at the annual Battle of the Bands! • This charity concert benefits the fight against cancer and is a fun night for everyone! • Read the posters for further information!

  10. The Maria Goretti Spirit Club has been canceled for this week and next week. • Please pray for the school as their heating system broke and some other functional  difficulties.   • The club will begin again Monday March 4th.   • Any questions on this matter please see Miss Dorrie.

  11. Culture Club Black History Month Come learn about African American culture and try some soul food. The meeting will be held Monday February 25th in Room 201 If you would like to volunteer and bring in soul food please email occultureclub@gmail.com or talk to Ms. Lehman.

  12. February is Gallbladder Cancer Awareness Month • The Gallbladder is the pear shaped organ underneath the liver • Gallbladder cancer is often unexpectedly found • Although rare, if caught early, it can be completely removed by surgery
