Workgroup Progress • Update to measure grid for meaningful use • Recommended set of 29 measures • 17 can be retooled for EHRs • Other measures • 10 EHR utilization • 2 Privacy and Security • Retooling arrangements in progress • 17 selected measures • Additional related measures identified by HHS • Building on the work of HITSP in retooling 16 inpatient measures (TN906)

Workgroup Progress, con’t • Measure process workflow modified based on Standards Committee input • Incorporated in HITSP Quality Interoperability Specification (IS06) • Included as the basis for testing of retooled electronic measure specifications • NQF is actively working on new measures to meet the needs of the HIT Policy Committee requirements.
