  2. LECTOR PRO Silca LECTOR PRO is an advanced device able to read and identify flat car and cylinder keys in a matter of seconds. Thanks to a data archive that may be customised (by country and on the basis of the customer’s requirements) LECTOR PRO recognises the key reference by reading its shape.

  4. Reads and recognises a key independently of the type of key head. • Reads the keys without the need to take them out of the key ring or key case.

  9. Functions: READING • The reading phase is extremely fast, when used as stand-alone or connected to a P.C. • The key is compared with all the shapes stored in the database, both for the stand-alone and the P.C. version.

  10. Functions: SHAPE SEARCH AND DISPLAY • Item identificationLECTOR PRO can check the data relating to the keys, by identifying the Silca (or other similar) item with the key read. The operation is instant in both versions of use (S.A. and PC). • Any key contained in the system database is found even when it is worn!

  11. Functions: DATABASE • Data Base The data file of the range of keys in both versions can be customised and updated (stand-alone / PC). This important option allows you to manage the database with the most suitable references of the country of use or with the references most requested by the customers. The data base can contain up to 1800 shapes in the stand-alone version and is virtually unlimited in the PC version.

  12. Functions: DATABASE • Data Archiving • Archiving of the new shapes database (self-loading).Archiving of new shapes not on the data base is possible by self-loading up to a maximum of 200 in the stand-alone version and up to 2,000 in the PC version.

  13. Functions: DATABASE • Key Tag • It is possible to insert the position of the key on the corresponding KEY TAG (hook) for each item during transaction with a customer. This method reduces the length of time when locating the correct key.

  14. Functions: SEARCH FOR THE SHAPE • The motorised clamp makes the reading function absolutely innovative. The Operator can select a read mode that scans the whole length of the stem, or just the profile (Quick Search*). • The degree of precision of the search is very accurate thanks to a patented opto-electronic reading system that uses advanced optical measurement and laser illumination technologies. * The Quick Read Mode does not check the length of the stem
