  2. Ancestor My ancestors were born in Laos.

  3. Life in Laos Back then, the land was free and not own. If you like the land, then you can just build your house on it.

  4. School in Laos Back then there were no school in Laos. People spend their time in the field growing crops.

  5. Foods in Laos and Thailand

  6. My parents My parents were born in Laos. When the Vietnams war began my parents and their relatives began to immigrant to Thailand.

  7. Life after the war A couples of year after the war ended, life changed. There were schools, hospitals, stores, etc.

  8. My mom’s life Mymom went to school and learned a lot. One of her favorite subject was spelling. During her free time she like to play tag, her hobby was consider reading and helping around the house.

  9. My dad’s life Mydad went to school in Thailand. His favorite hobby is playing soccer. In his spare time he like to play with his friends.

  14. Samantha Born: Sacramento, California Birthday: Oct. 14,1992 (age:15) Hobby: read, watch movies, write poems, draw, eat and dance. Favorite food: chow mein, egg rolls, papaya, and anything that has to do with shrimps. Education: sophomore (10th grader) *second oldest sister in the family.

  15. Jennifer Born: Sacramento, California Birthday: Oct. 8, 1993 (age:14) Hobby: listen to Korean and Hmong music, play with brothers, judo and watch fighting movies. Favorite food: chow mein, sushi, and spaghetti Education: Freshman (9th grader) *third oldest sister in the family.

  16. Allen Born: Sacramento, California Birthday: Aug. 14, 1995 (age:12) Hobby: draw, read, listen to music, play video games, and play basketball. Favorite food: sausages, hamburger and fried chicken. Education: 7th grader * Oldest brother in the family.

  17. Ali Born: Sacramento, California Birthday: Oct. 10, 1997 (age:10) Hobby: listen to music, play video games, draw, and watch break dance movie. Favorite food: papaya, fried rice and egg rolls Education: 5th grader *youngest brother in the family.
