  7. Least Favorite Character • Vincent diPetro • He is the character that learns the most, but lost the most • He portrays the typical greedy man, and the things he has done to get that money is the reason he is my leas favorite.

  8. Exposition • The main point of the book doesn’t come out till later. • It starts off introducing the characters • It shows sins and corruption of the characters • Then it turns it all around when Jim dies and meets his destiny

  9. Rising Action • This would have to be when Jim Dies • He wakes up outside heaven with four angels • The angels tell him he has to save seven sinners

  13. Setting • The time is present • The place is Caldwell. (like New York) It has a lot of corrupt people and J.R Ward uses it as a bases for all her fantasy characters.

  14. Theme • The main theme in this book is that Good attempts to conquer over evil. – Self Explanatory • Everyone can help the lives of others if they so choose. – They attempt to show that people can be saved. • Love Conquers all – Vincent wouldn’t have been able to do anything if it wasn’t for the love of Marie Terrese

  15. Rating I rate the book an 8 • It covers all the life issues such as greed, corruption, love, despair and does a good job at showing the struggles of people even today.
