University graduation requirements • University minimum requirements for a bachelor’s degree: • 120 credits • 40 credits in Liberal Education • 40 credits in upper-division (300-499) courses • 30 credits in residence at SCSU • Apply for graduation (best done 2 semesters prior to graduation) Records and Registration office, AS 118 Major-specific requirements: • 2.5 overall GPA to be admitted to the Community Health major and to graduate from the program • Must complete all major courses with a grade of "C-" or better

How to Apply to the Community Health Major: • Must complete HLTH 210, 215, 225, 325 and PESS 249 or BIO 202 • Download from the website the Community Health Major/Minor Application Form • Complete the form electronically (utilizing your DARS Report) • Gather the needed signatures (get the minor advisor’s or a second major advisor’s signature before the required Community Health advisor’s) • The Kinesiology Chairperson will submit the form to Records and Registration • Records and Registration will notify the student by email (minimum of 2 weeks)

Minors that compliment a community health major Athletic coaching Biology Communication Sciences and Disorders Community Psychology Child and Family Studies Communication Studies Gerontology Human Relations Marketing (Business) Mass Communications Psychology • Women's Studies • ***A minor is not required, but you’ll need to complete 120 credits total and have a total of 40 upper division credits (300-400 level) to graduate.*** Your choice of a minor depends on your interests, career goals, what population you may be working with, etc. Nursing Home/Health Administration Certificate Program Offered in the Political Science Department Contact: Dr. Pat Bodelson

Tools to use in Registration • Interactive Degree Audit Report (DARS) • Sign into e-Services • Click on “Grades and Transcripts” • Click on “Interactive Degree Audit” • Use your DARS report to complete your Application for the major form • Liberal Education Checklist is provided on your DARS • Major Checklist (included on DARS once you are admitted into the major)

  8. Sign into e-Services Speak with an advisor to • Get your questions answered • Plan your schedule • Apply for the major (if applicable) • Get your access code (if applicable)
