  2. Subscribers start at OSBA’s home page The district has one username and password for all subscriptions. Type in your username and password and click the [Submit] button. xxxxxxx *******

  3. Five great research tools We’ll start with the Arbitration database, providing summaries of over 300 arbitration decisions affecting education.

  4. Once you click on the link, you are presented with this screen. Now, you can select how you want to filter the hundreds of decisions we’ve summarized. You may be looking for a particular decision, but all you can remember is the union that was involved or the school district that was involved. Let’s say, you’re interested in a particular arbitrator’s record. Select the desired arbitrator and press the [Submit] button.

  6. A PDF file opens in your browser, displaying the full decision.

  7. The Contract Language Index catalogs current licensed and classified contracts to help you find specific contract language.

  8. You can filter the indexes by district type, specific districts, counties, contract term or ADM Then you select the desired contract index question(s).

  9. Once you’ve submitted your questions, you’ll see a screen like this one that lists the matching responses. You can sort the list using any of the columns just by clicking on the column heading. The report gives you the location in the contract where the question was answered.

  11. The asterisk (*) tells the system to look for something like what you’ve typed. Without it, you would need to type the name exactly as it appears in the system. When you’re ready, click the Find Matches button. Fill in your filter criteria beaverton*

  12. A list of the documents that match the criteria appears on the right. You can sort by any column by clicking the column heading. Once for ascending – a second time for descending. Once you find the desired document, click the [Open] button next to it.

  13. A PDF file of the contract appears.

  14. The Salary and Benefits Analyzer allows you to create custom comparative salary and benefit reports for district and ESD licensed staff. Comparisons for classified staff insurance and base percent increases are also available.

  15. Then filter the data by district type, school year, region –including specific districts or counties, or ADM First choose the type of comparative report you want to prepare. After making all your selections, click the [Submit] button.

  16. Once the report appears, you can sort by any column by clicking the column heading. If you click on a question mark, you’ll get more information about that column. For salary reports, we provide you with a PERS adjusted column so you can compare apples to apples.
