  1. RAFT WritingChoose ONE of the following to use as your final assignment for this trimester: • Option 1: You are a newspaper reporter. Write a “factual” article of the robbery at the store and the arrest of T.J. This means that your RAFT should sound like a news article (no personal pronouns—I/me/my/etc.) and should be free of opinions, unless they are from personal interviews. (250-350 words) • Option 2: You are Harlan Granger. Write a diary entry about the final events of the book—robbery, TJ’s arrest, the Logans’ cotton burning, etc. (250-350 words) • Option 3: Imagine that Stacey and Jeremy run into each other 35 years AFTER the novel ended. Write a dialogue (script form) that details what they would have to say about the events, as well as what they are doing in their lives now. (250-350 words—DOES NOT INCLUDE THE REPETITION OF NAMES)
