  3. The Life Calling Model can serve as a road map—even in the public sector

  4. The public sector road may hold more travel regulations or even road blocks

  5. A comprehensive plan provides students the opportunity to discover their own way

  6. The Life Calling Model gives meaning, significance and hope to the journey

  7. Students discover meaning for the choices they make

  8. Recognize that all students have foundational premises

  9. Help students stay aligned

  10. See the value in the past, present, and future

  11. Students understand the significance of their life

  12. Value the uniqueness each student brings

  13. Promote a new way of thinking

  14. Identify the unique student make-up of your specific institution

  15. Students have hope to reach their goals or destinations

  16. Apply the appropriate action

  17. Learn from those already on the path

  18. Teach lifelong learning skills

  19. Can public universities provide a life discovery tool for students?

  20. Without a guiding atlas students can feel lost, insignificant and hopeless

  21. The Life Calling Model helps students discover their own life direction

  22. Public institutions can use the Life Calling Model to promote students’ self-discovery
