  3. Seaford School District’s Vision Statement • Instill in students a sense of pride through excellence, enabling them to be good citizens, contributing members of society, and to successfully compete in a global economy. Seaford School District Website

Governance Team • Establish weekly meetings with board president • Establish monthly meetings with board members • Identify the school system’s strategic priorities • Align strategic priorities with the 2012 budget • Develop and implement system-wide policies to enable strategic priorities to be achieved World-class Excellence for Student Learning

  10. Organizational Capacity • Evaluate and revise the current district-level leadership structure • Evaluate the effectiveness of school leadership structures • Revise our website and school websites to better communicate with our community World-class Excellence for Student Learning

Student Achievement • Review current performance data • Identify strategic data points to monitor • Explore root causes to student performance • Identify professional development needs of teachers • Support principals in their efforts to support teacher development World-class Excellence for Student Learning
