Quality • The Allahabad Manufacturing Division's three Quality Circle (QC) projects received 'excellent', 'distinguished' and 'meritorious' category certifications from the National Centre for Quality Control's (NCQC) Kanpur Chapter; while the fourth QC project was awarded 'distinguished' category certification by NCQC's Bangalore chapter in 2009. • The Barabanki Manufacturing Division's two QC projects received 'excellent' and 'distinguished' category certifications from the Quality Circle National Award in 2009. • The Hazira Manufacturing Division won the global award for 'Best TQM Success Story' at the International Forum of AOTS in 2009. • The Hazira Manufacturing Division won the Qualtech 2009 Excellence Award for its Business Transformation in 2009. • The Hazira Manufacturing Division received the 'PM SHRAM AWARD' in recognition of its Kaizen case studies in 2009. • At both the 'National and Regional Quality Control Circle Events', The Hazira Manufacturing Division's Quality Circles have won recognition, in 2009, for showcasing its total employee involvement initiatives in shopfloor improvement case studies.
