  3. Facts about life • Maria was a very smart child. She could speak French, Italian, Greek, Hebrew…. • She wrote the best introduction to the works of Euler. • She spoke many languages and even taught her brother. • She had books published. • She went to Pio Instituto Trivulzo.

  4. What are they known for? • Her book Anylitical Institutions. • Wrote an equation for a curve, a*sgrt(a*x-x*x)/x. • Wrote the first textbook for teaching calulus.
