To help businesses by promoting the very latest techniques in work organisation and manufacturing. It seeks to achieve its objectives by training, informing and assisting in the adoption of new technologies and the creation of new businesses Established in 1952 with the Marshall Plan experiments. 1994  Foundation. Its founders and supporters include five Chambers of Commerce from the Veneto Region, the Council of the Province of Vicenza, the main Trade Associations and State and private bodies.   17. Workshop “HOW TO START A BUSINESS” Objectives To inform about the opportunities and challenges of a new business/self-employment. Topics Enterprise creation (statistical figures, numbers..), opportunities and difficulties of a new business, the entrepreneur’s role and skills, the business plan’s steps , from the idea to the business, regulations, questions from participants.

STARTING YOUR OWN BUSINESS: BUSINESS PLANNING’S LABORATORY • Objectives • To provide participants with a basic grounding in the business skills required to start and manage a small business • To help the would be entrepreneurs to evaluate the feasibility of their business’s idea writing a business plan • Topics • Introduction to marketing and to market research, characteristics of a good Business Plan, legal aspects, sources of finance for start-up, promotion, introduction to costing and pricing, preparation of cashflow forecasts. • How • In room training (30-40 hours) and assistance on a one-to-one basis by business experts.
