  1. Event structure of pC, dC, αC and CC collisions in pt space I.Zh. Bunzarov, O.V. Rogachevsky JINR ITEP 29 October 2007

  2. Experimental data • Experimental data were obtained from 2-m JINR propane bubble chamber exposed with the beam of light (p, d, α, C) nuclei at the momentum 4.2 GeV/c per nucleon. • Only charged secondary particles p, π+, π- were used for the analysis • Evaporating protons (P < 0.3 GeV/c) and stripping particles (P > 3 GeV/c &  < 4○ ) were excluded from the analysis.

  3. Levy distribution: Particle transverse momentum distributions pt Ptmax – the highest transverse momentum among all particles in event m0: mass of the hadron n: power law parameter

  4. Particle transverse momentum distributions pt

  5. dC/pC, HC/pC and CC/pC ratios A: d, H, C nuclei

  6. Summary • Analyses of events for pC, dC, aC and CC interactions were performed with using variable Ptmax • Events in the plot of dependence Pt of all particles on Ptmax of event reveal different structure • Number of particles with high Pt increases with atomic number of colliding nuclei • Number of events with high Ptmax increases with atomic number of colliding nuclei
