  2. Apathy • A lack of concern or feeling, indifference • Synonym: Stoicism • Antonym: Enthusiasm devotion • The man looked upon the turn of events with apathy.

  3. Benevolence • Kindness, generosity, charity • Antonyms: Antagonism, malevolence • His benevolence was shown when he set up soup kitchens for the poor.

  4. Collaborate • To work together • Antonym: to work alone • Sometimes singers who have never worked together will collaborate to make a new album.

  5. Conciliate • To reconcile, to pacify, to renew a friendship • Synonyms: Appease, mollify, placate, propitiate • Antonyms: To estrange • My husband tried conciliate me with a gift of roses.

  6. Cryptic • Mysterious, secret • Synonyms: abstruse, ambiguous, obscure • Antonyms: clear, revealed • I did not understand his cryptic message.

  18. Uproarious • Making great noise (not necessarily negative) • Synonym: tumultuous • Antonyms: soft, quiet • The Beatles usually played to uproarious crowds.
