  3. Hell was prepared for the Devil… “Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:” Matt. 25:41 “Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.” 2 Cor.2:11

  5. DANGER You might learn… What to do to be saved “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:” 1 Peter 5:8 Adversary = enemy, opponent Devour = drown, swallow Devil Destroy your soul

  6. Our Aim is You might learn… What to do to be saved 2 Peter 3:9 “…not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance” God Faith Repentance Confession Baptism John 3:16

DANGER You might learn… We are to put God First Put job first Put family above God Put comfort ahead of church Enjoy pleasures of life Devil “eat, drink, and be merry” Luke 12:19 “Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season” Heb.11:25 Go ahead and enjoy sin

In the Church You will learn… We are to put God First “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matt. 6:33 God “If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.” Luke 14:26

DANGER You might learn to be A Dedicated Christian Loves half-hearted, luke-warm, hypocritical church members They become his servants Devil Rev. 3:15-16 “I will spue thee out of my mouth.” “I love thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I want you to remain that way, so then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will praise thee with my mouth.” Devil’s version

DANGER You might learn to be A Dedicated Christian Loves half-hearted, luke-warm, hypocritical church members Devil Serve the devil while pretending to serve God Matt.15:7-9 - vain worship - following men not God Matt. 6:2-5 - pray in public to get praise of men Matt. 6:16 - fasting to be seen of men

  11. In the Church You will learn to be A Dedicated Christian Time: Attend - Heb. 10:25 Study - 2 Tim. 2:15 Teach - Mark 16:15 God Ability - Use talents - Matt. 25:14-30 Influence 1 Cor. 15:33 Matt. 5:16 Money - 1 Cor. 16:1-2 Matt. 10:38 - take up our cross daily and follow Christ

DANGER You might learn that Sin is not good, but Bad Devil Deceives man to make him think that sin is the best way to live Tricked Eve by telling her she would not surely die Reasoning of the Devil - God should not have made us this way How could a God of love create man and then punish him for an eternity in hell ?

  13. In the Church You will learn that Sin is not good, but Bad Made man so he could choose to do good or evil God “choose you this day whom ye will serve” Josh.24:15 Rom. 6:23 Wages of sin - penalty = death Gift of God = eternal life through Jesus
