  1. easterd@ccisd.com 547-3440 Conference period: 11:30 – 12:15 School day begins at 7:45 Lunch – 12:15 – 12:45 Dismissal – 3:15 Breakfast – 7:15 (Please have your child at school by 7:25 if your child is going to eat breakfast.) General Information: Graded Work Folders – Each Monday a folder will be sent home for you to sign which will include all of the graded papers of your child from the week before. Please sign and return the folder each Tuesday. The graded papers are yours to keep – I do not need them back. Incentives: Halstead Money: My class operates with a money system. Students can earn money for getting a compliment from another teacher, making the A or A-B honor roll, perfect attendance for the six weeks, etc. They can then trade their money to buy school supplies from me, a homework pass, raffle tickets, etc. Friday Free Time: Students not having to go to the office or be sent out of the room during the week for behavior problems will be allowed to participate in Friday Free Time at the end of the day on Fridays. Activities they will be allowed to choose from include educational computer games, board games, joke books, puzzles, and art. All work for the week must be turned in before a student is allowed to participate in free time and that student must not be in debt. Welcome –From Mrs. EasterAugust 21, 2014
