    1. Future Force Warrior (FFW) Integrated Analysis Bob OBrien FFW Co-Lead Systems Engineering FFW Technology Program Office U.S. Army Natick Soldier Center I am going to report to you today on the Integrated Analysis efforts of the FFW program. I hope you will agree there is a lot of interesting work being done by our analysis and testing teams on FFW. To give credit where credit is due, the bulk of the work presented here is based on the efforts of our industry and government Integrated Analysis Team, comprised for the most part by individuals from the Science Applications International Corporation, and from the Training and Doctrine Command System Manager Soldier office at Ft. Benning. Ill provide points of contact information at the end of this presentation. I am going to report to you today on the Integrated Analysis efforts of the FFW program. 3. 9/6/2012 3 Integrated Analysis - Objectives Assess Future Force Warrior System of Systems Combat Effectiveness Materiel Approaches (Hardware, Software) Cost, Weight, Cube, & Power Benefit Analyses Distribution of Capabilities FFW Small Combat Unit/Team Organization Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures Recommend Operational and System of Systems Architecture Based on Combat Effectiveness Analysis We have two overall objectives. Use integrated modeling, simulation, and field testing to evaluate the combat effectiveness of the FFW system of systems. In that integrated process, we are assessing the COMBINED effectiveness of material solutions (hardware, software), how those solutions are distributed to the small combat unit, how the small combat unit is organized, and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures needed to effectively employ all the above. And based on the results of our analyses, recommend operational and system architectures for FFWWe have two overall objectives.
