  5. A Living Weekend is for every age! Serving all ages in an organized inspirational weekend allows for the discovery of the path of God. Help people realize their ministry potential to share Christ with others! NW OUTREACH MINISTRIES

  6. A Living Weekend team serves your church… Worship & Prayer Coffee Fellowships Kid’s Living Weekend Teen’s Living Weekend Small Group Fellowships NW OUTREACH MINISTRIES

  7. What are the goals of a Living Weekend? Giving Him all glory, honor, and praise! Individual personal commitment with a renewed focus on Jesus Christ through the avenue of testimony. To promote unity within the Body of Christ. In humility, expressing His love and faithfulness through service. NW OUTREACH MINISTRIES

  8. Digging in… Small group sessions led by the visiting team help people to talk about relevant topics NW OUTREACH MINISTRIES

  9. What We Are! Christians being transformed! Ready to share life stories! Desiring to be more Christ-like in all we say and do! Organized, prepared, passionate about our mission…to engage and encourage people! NW OUTREACH MINISTRIES

  10. What Not to Expect! We’re not about making money because there is no fee to the church! We’re not professional presenters! We’re not about controversy in church policies or doctrines! NW OUTREACH MINISTRIES

  11. The Living Weekend Servant Team Each team member: • has been approved by a board • has been given 3-5 minutes to share details of their testimony. • has received guidelines before presenting their faith story. NW OUTREACH MINISTRIES

  12. The size of your church doesn’t matter! The Living Weekend Servant Team is proportionate to the number in your church family NW OUTREACH MINISTRIES

  13. Purpose  • By sacrificially and transparently sharing team-led activities and short faith journeys, Living Weekend teams challenge the church to a deeper relationship with Christ and each other. “Go and make disciples”. Matt. 28:19 NW OUTREACH MINISTRIES

  14. A Living Weekend is about… Opening doors of discussion to dialog about individual and church growth. Discipleship in action by serving the local church. Enriching and encouraging everyone to live out spiritual values NW OUTREACH MINISTRIES

  15. Here’s the plan… Friday evening- dinner & fellowship, breakout groups, corporate worship and praise. Saturday Morning - Coffee Fellowships. Lunch with visiting team sharing Rest and Reflection Dinner, small groups, communion service Sunday service – Living Weekend team sharing and leading NW OUTREACH MINISTRIES

What will happen? • We trust God for moving hearts and minds into the places He desires. • We can never truly know the inward things that happen, but we have been privileged to hear wonderful results of obedience. • Our prayer is that each church family be empowered in wisdom and unified in purpose. NW OUTREACH MINISTRIES

  17. How will we know? What if Peter had stayed in the boat when Jesus said, “come?” NW OUTREACH MINISTRIES

  18. Before a Living Weekend we’ve heard… “we don’t want to put a burden on people’s time” “a handful of people do all the work – there is no commitment from others” “we already have testimony time in our church” “we would love for you to come and share with us!” NW OUTREACH MINISTRIES
