  4. Beginning In the beginning of your story you should have 3 important parts… Setting Characters Main Idea

  5. Setting The setting of the story is the … Time the story happens Morning, afternoon,on a holiday, a month of the year, day of the week, before bedtime, at 4:30a.m. and the Place the story happens Grandma’s house, a swimming pool, the backyard, the school gym, in another country, basement of a creepy house

  6. Characters Your story will need… Main Character The one who is the most important in the story Also 2 or more characters Everyone needs a friend but remember not to many.

  7. Main Idea The “Main Idea” of the story is what the story is mostly about.

  8. Middle Checkers says the middle of the story is his favorite part because it has the details (de-tails)in it. Details give more information about the Main Idea. If you have 3 details for your story then you have a good story started. One of Checkers favorite things to do is chase his tail.

  9. End The end of your story should stop with your Main Character and his friends finishing what they were doing.
