  1. “Emergency Leave Operation Storyboard” Ali Al Salem • BN S1/Unit • Complete Emergency Leave (EL) packet. • Soldier weapon remains with unit. Soldier strip down IBA, will travel in IBA and ACH • Manifest Soldier on next flight from FOB to BIAP. Forward manifest to BDE S1 • Soldier flies from BIAP to Ali AL Salem. • Forward EL information to BDE S1 and Rear Detachment . • BIAP LNO S1 Rep • Receive, brief and manifest Soldiers arriving for onward movement to Ali Al Salem. Provide BDE S1 with daily travel summary. • Ali Al Salem (556 PSB) • Soldier will link-up with LNO • Complete redeployment DCS, turn-in IBA, ACH. • SATO will arrange travel via charter flight to Atlanta or Dallas or commercial ticket to destination in US. • 556 PSB will ensure transport to KCIA for all Soldiers, charter and commercial flight. • Soldiers Responsibility • Upon receiving travel itinerary Soldier must call the BN S1 and Rear Det representative via DSN to inform of arrive time and date into US. • Rear Detachment • Receive itinerary from returning Soldier. • Coordinate travel from arrival point in US to emergency leave location. • Approval authority for EL extension • Notify forward unit of all EL extensions Fwd EL information to BDE S1 and Rear Detachment BN S1 556 PSB, receives, briefs, DCS, provide tickets, manifests and transports Soldiers. Complete EL packet (see checklist) Manifest Soldier on Next flight to BIAP BIAP LNO receives Soldiers, Prepares for onward Movement to Ali Al Salem 1. Soldier must call the BN S1 and Rear Detachment with travel itinerary prior to departing Ali Al Salem 2. Soldiers will depart on chartered flight to Atlanta or Dallas. Commercial Flight could be to any US city. 3. No military attire worn on commercial flights EMERGENCY LV CHECKLIST 1. DA FORM 31 2. Delegation of signature Memo 3. Auth to depart theater Memo 4.
