Is it just the history of race? • Is it just labels we have inherited? • What does this mean • for both political parties in SC? • for public policy in SC? • for role of government in the future of this state? • Caveat--maybe no significance because other issues that divide the races are more important? • Will we ever see that we have so much in common across the racial divide? • Who benefits if we do not?
