  2. God Calls Sinners to Salvation • Come to God for life,Isa. 55:1-3 • Come to Jesus for rest,Matt. 11:28 • Bread of life & water of life,Jno. 6:35; 7:37-38 “And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.”(Revelation 22:17)

God Invites and Calls SinnersMatthew 22:1-10 • All things are ready – Come to the feast • Go into the highways…invite, 22:9 • Through gospel preaching, 1 Cor. 1:23 • Christ sent Saul to do this, Acts 26:17-20 • Christ sends us to do the same thing today • The gospel invitation is an important part

  4. To be saved, Acts 2:40 • For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.” How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?(Romans 10:13-14) The Gospel Invitation PERSUASIVE

  11. Tell what must be done to be saved • Lost, Acts 9:6; 22:16 • Sinning Christians, Acts 8:18-24 • Identify the sin • Rebuke & warn sinner • Exhort obedience • Make the application! Matt. 28:19-20 The Gospel Invitation PRACTICAL
