  2. Protocol • Label two Eppendorf tubes

  3. Fold paper towel into a weigh boat.

  4. Crack an egg over a beaker and place yolk on paper towel.

  5. Transfer 2ml of egg yolk into a tube of 8mls precipitation buffer A.

  6. Mix by Inversion for 2min

  7. Filter mixture • After filtering remove gauze and discard.

  8. Add 1ml of filtered egg yolk into one of your micro centrifuge tubes.

  9. Centrifuge for 10min.

  10. Remove 500µl of sup(supernatant) from fist tube into your second tube.

  11. Add 100µl precipitation buffer B

  12. Mix by Inversion for 2min Like this again but with small tube.

  13. Centrifuge again for 10min.

  14. Remove supernatant without disturbing pellet • Continue using pipette to remove all supernatant Pellet

  15. Add 1ml of 1xPBS in 500µl aliquots to the pellet and resuspend pellet by pipetting.

  16. Resuspending by vortexing.

  17. STOP SWITCH BACK TO PART II
