  2. To Do…..Red Folder 1. Parent/Guardian Game Questions- fill out and compare with your child’s 2. Sign up for parent teacher conference time 3. Index Card: Write your name and child’s name. Write 1 strength and 1 area of need. What would you like your child to do before moving on to 4thgrade?

  3. Agenda 1. Homework Policy 2. Behavior Expectations (MBA models) 3. Special Information- celebrations, field trips, volunteering, scholastic books… 4. Emergency Contact forms/Communication 5. Attendance 6. Homogeneous Groups/Grade Level Expectations/DRA 7. Donations- Kleenex, Baby Wipes, Composition notebooks 8. Don’t forget to sign up for conference time

HOMEWORK • Homework is to be completed NIGHTLY. • Students should be reading 15-20 minutes each day and complete their READING LOG. • Math homework is given on Tuesdays and Fridays. • All work should be completed in the home/school notebook, except Math • The home/school notebook can be used as a means of communication. • Please complete the HOMEWORK CONTRACT with your child.

  7. Attendance Please send in a note with your child for EVERY absence. The school day begins at 7:50. Your child is considered TARDY after that time. Breakfast begins at 7:40 Dismissal is 2:05 each day, except Wednesday, 1:15. Please be sure to complete an EMERGENCY FORM if you have not already done so.

  8. Walk to Read & Homogeneous Groups Children are group according to skill level Flexible groups On-going assessment Targeted instruction for all students Departmentalize subject areas

  9. Supplies & Donations Extra supply lists are available. Donations are greatly appreciated!! Items in need: composition notebooks, tissues, baby wipes, hand sanitizer.
