  1. Prepositions The Advanced Class at The Warehouse Wednesday, November 14, 2012

  2. Jeremy and I are always on the same wavelength when we work together. It’s as if he can guess what I am going to say next. I really like working with him. We’re a lot alike when it comes to how we think the company should be run. I think that George sabotaged our presentation. I don’t think the electricity could go out exactly at the same time as when we were going to present our ideas. I think he turned the lights off on purpose. Julia and I are on good terms at work now. Before she would really bother me asking me for all kinds of favors but now she seems to have found someone else to ask favors from. When she talks to me now it’s just to ask if I want to have a coffee with her. I see my friends on a fairly regular basis. We call each other to meet up at least once a month. On average, I see my family twice a year, at Christmas and in August. It’s not much, but when you live an ocean away…

  3. His good behavior comes and goes in phases. For a week he sits perfectly still in his desk and listens to the teacher and then suddenly for about 2 weeks he is a perfect scoundrel, slapping kids on the back, throwing spit wads and asking to go to the bathroom every five minutes. I don’t know what gets into him! In the long run, I’ll think you’ll be perfectly happy with your purchase. The house is 100 years old but it’s got character, you know? I think it’s a great find. Short-term you’re going to have lots of projects around the house but long-term it’s going to be a great investment. I keep in touch with my old kindergarten teacher. Now that I’m a teacher, I see her as a mentor and I go to her for advice at least once a semester. My co-workers and I don’t have much in common. I’m much younger than them and I don’t have any children. I guess we’re just at different stages in our lives. I come in contact with about 100 people every day, riding the metro and teaching English. Perhaps more, I’m not really sure.

  4. Is there anything you do out of habit? I check to make sure all the lights are off even if I’ve already done it once. I’d seen my dad do it so many times when I was little I guess it’s just stuck with me. When people start talking about the economy I feel completely out of my depth. I guess I should brush up on current affairs a bit more. These kids are out of control! They’re climbing on the desks and ripping down all the posters! It’s like they don’t respect my authority! These bell bottoms are so out of fashion. I think you should burn them. I started working here out of necessity. I don’t really like being a shop assistant but it pays the bills.
