  1. Randy Sam’s Outreach Center Their mission is to meet the needs of providing safe lodging and food for the poor and homeless until they will be able to get back to controlling their own lives. Forevery homeless person you see there is many more that you don’t see. Some of them sleep on the streets, cars or parks. There are some people that are kind enough to help them.

  2. How this shelter came to be This shelter was for Randy Sams who lived in Texarkana. He volunteered a lot at an Outreach Kitchen. He got murdered. Randy SamsOutreach Shelter has been helping the homeless, poor and the hungry since January 6, 1996

  3. CommunityLeaders They provide meals for the hungry and the poor. They don’t have to stay in the shelter to get fed. They could just drop by and leave afterwards. The staff of the shelter allows other people to volunteer as much as they can. There are people who go there each month and people who volunteer everyday.

  4. Personal Experience? Ivolunteered to feed them along with other people and I had to bring enough soda for all of them. There was other people that came with the food and to clean up.

  5. LeadershipSkills They help every homeless and poor person to get back living their normal lives again. They try their hardest to help everyone. The staff that works at that shelter shows leadership skills to their community. They help the poor, hungry and the homeless. They also give medical care for the people that needs it.
