WIN-T POR - Modified Acquisition Strategy • Two competitive contracts awarded to General Dynamics Government Systems Corporation and Lockheed Martin Mission Systems • Phase 1 is the “basic” contract for Pre-Milestone B Activities • Phase 2 was a priced option for SDD • WIN-T was originally envisioned to support Army’s Future Combat System (FCS)/Future Force • Initial fieldings in FY09 timeframe • Global War on Terrorism (GWOT) shifted the Army’s focus to the Current Force • Sept 2004: DAE Approved Combining Teams

  7. WIN-T • The Army’s integrating communications network, optimized for offensive and Joint operations.
