  2. District Logon • Your district logon will be your substitute ID number with an “a” in front of it. (example: a12345) • The first time you log onto the network your password will be generic (Pa55word). You will be given the prompt to change it to your personal password.

District Portal Page • Employees have a district portal page that allows you to access a variety of district software/applications from one location. • Icons can be added to your portal page by following the below steps • Right click on the page and click on Settings. • Click on the Favorites tab and select the icons you want added to your portal. Click on Add and scroll to the bottom to Save. • The icons with the stars indicate an icon that was added.

  4. District Email • District substitutes have district gmail accounts: first_last@staff.indep.k12.mo.us • You can access your account two ways: • Click on the Email icon on your portal page. • Go to the district home page and hover over Careers. • Select Substitutes from the menu. • Email is the second from the last choice on the left side of your screen. Your username and password will be: first_last.
