  8. Location Guizhou adjoins Sichuan Province and Chongqing Municipality to the north, Yunnan Province to the west, Guangxi Province to the south and Hunan Province to the east. The western part of the province forms part of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau. Students will head to the Western part of Guizhou where they will work with the local Duimengshan Primary School students.

Partner Projects of BISS • Making a Difference: Students not only explore ideas and concepts with hands-on strategies but furthermore integrate ideas and collaborate with the local students to advance ideas to improve the whole school environment. With the full time participation of local students, we work as a team-bring ideas that result in constructive change; both in the school's overall environment and in local students' mindset. • Options for school service project may include (depends on the budget): • Classroom Mural Painting: Help create an inspiring mural to help improve the school’s environment • English language session: Create a fun interactive activity where local students can learn English • Water filtration: Help a school by donating a water filtering system that enables students to have clean running water

Biking Wanfeng (Ten-thousand Peaks) Lake located in southwestern corner of Anlong County, Qianxinan Prefecture, was formed by the water stored from Nanpan River when building the Tiansheng Bridge First-level Power Station. Surrounded by numerous mountain ranges, the lake covers 176 sq km including 30-plus islands, 58 peninsulars, 82 bays, 12 inland lakes, and 14 scenic spots.

  13. Rafting Students will be rafting on the beautiful Maling River. The 12-kilometre rafting course is divided into six scenic sections

  15. TRANSPORTATION Transportation will consist of large coaches and mid-sized buses chosen through our local providers for their cleanliness, safety and driver awareness. ACCOMMODATION The hotel will consist of clean and simple double and triple rooms with bathroom/toilet. All students will be located in one hotel enabling suitable supervision and separate accommodation areas are provided for boys and girls. Teacher accommodation will include double rooms with attached en-suites and girls/boys are separated by floor. FOOD & BEVERAGE The menu is chosen to balance international and local fare to provide exciting and appetizing nourishment for the students. Meals are hearty, tasty and designed to complement the activities.
