  3. Approximately 30% of Students Statewide Failed the New Milestones Failure rates for the new Milestones vary from 21% on Math Grade 3 to 33% on ELA Grade 3. CCSD Accountability and Research Department

  4. New Milestones Are Harder The State BOE set cutoffs so that a much larger group of students will fail many of the Milestone EOGs compared to the CRCTs. ELA Grade 5 had 22.7% more failures. Science Grade 3 only had 1% more failures. CCSD Accountability and Research Department
