  2. 1 ¶ And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, The angel which poured out the seventh vial see ch.16:17 Rev. 17:18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth. 15. And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: The woman sits on the Beast (v.3) Many waters = Beast = nations of Europe

Rev.13,17 10 Horns - v.9 a mouth that spake very great things - v.2 he shall speak great words against the most high - v.25 made war with the saints and prevailed against them - v.21 10 horns - 13.1, 17:3 a mouth speaking great things - 13:5 a mouth speaking blasphemies - 13:5, 17:3 to make war with the saints and overcome them - 13:7, 17:6

Rev.13,17 Until a time and times and the dividing of time (3.5 years) - v.25 judgment was given to the saints of the most high... saints possessed the kingdom - v.22 beast was slain and his body given to the burning flame - v.11 To continue forty and two months - 13:5 (3.5 yrs or 1260 yrs) the Lamb shall overcome them, … they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful - 17:4 beast & false prophet cast alive into a lake of fire - 19:20

Decemviral Ten men (decemviri) journeyed to Greece to . study the laws in force there, resulting in ten rulers 5.Tribunitial (War generals now exercise political power) 6. Imperial (one General takes power for life - Julius Caesar 7. Gothic - Goths take control for 60 years

In Ch.13 the horns which were crowned, represented 10 nations which were victorious over the Western Roman Empire. Rev.13:1 ¶ And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
