What is the STaR Chart? • An online resource that allows districts and campuses to perform a self evaluation of how effective their technology integration is across the curriculum • Indicates how what level the district/campus is in reaching the goals of the Texas Long Range Plan for Technology • It is a tool that is used for planning and assessing technology integration into the curriculum of school districts

Benefits • Used to update or create district/campus technology plans • Tracks the use of funds from No Child Left Behind Title II, Part D • Helps the campus formulate a vision of technology, • Measures student and teacher skills depending on the level of technology integration • Serves as documentation of the district/campus progress • Identify technology needs of the campus to determine funding priorities
