  6. SHIRT, MAN’S • LONG SLEEVE SHIRT- DETERMINED BY NECK SIZE AND SLEEVE LENGTH • SHORT SLEEVE SHIRT-DETERMINED BY CHEST SIZE ONLY • EACH SHIRT IS FITTED OVER AN UNDERSHIRT WITH COLLAR BUTTONED AND SLEEVES UNBUTTONED

  7. SHIRT, MAN’S • AMPLE ROOM TO PERMIT FREE USE OF ARMS WITHOUT BINDING • COLLAR OF THE LONG SLEEVE SHIRT WILL ALLOW FOR INSERTION OF THE INDEX FINGER • LENGTH IS 2” ABOVE SECOND JOINT OF THE THUMB WITH A 1/2” TOLERANCE

  36. MATERNITY UNIFORM • WHEN THE SERVICE A UNIFORM IS PRESCRIBED, THE TUNIC TOP IS WORN • GREEN SWEATER IS NOT AUTHORIZED FOR WEAR • MATERNITY UTILITY UNIFORM IS AUTHORIZED AND WILL BE WORN IN THE SAME MANNER AS THE STANDARD UTILITY UNIFORM

  37. UTILITY UNIFORM • STARCHING OF THE MARPAT UNIFORM IS PROHIBITED. STARCHING OF CAMOFLAGUE UNIFORM IS AUTHORIZED BUT NOT MANDATED. • OTHER THAN INSTANCES PRESCRIBED BY CMC, THE UTILITY UNIFORM IS NOT AUTHORIZED FOR LEAVE AND LIBERTY. • NO ALTERATIONS ARE AUTHORIZED FOR THIS UNIFORM

  38. UTILITY UNIFORM • UNIFORM IS FITTED OVER AN UNDERSHIRT WITH SUFFICIENT LOOSENESS FOR EASE OF MOVEMENT. • A WEB BELT WITH BUCKLE IS WORN WITH THE UTILITY UNIFORM • SLEEVE ROLLS ARE INSIDE-OUT, ABOUT 3” WIDE, AND ABOUT 2” ABOVE THE ELBOW
