  4. Getting involved: Exciting Fun while working? Learning & working My Service-Learning projects

  5. Busting suds for Meagan’s House! The car wash was an exciting event for a great purpose. Meagan’s House is a new center that serves children with disabilities and their families. The home gives caregivers a break by temporarily caring for the children. I enjoyed asking for donations and washing cars with my FYE family for such a wonderful cause.

  6. We Have A Highway!!! Walking down Ashley Street sporting neon orange vest has never look more beautiful, until our FYE class did it. We were all picking up trash and holding garbage bags to clean our marvelous highway.

  7. Let’s find a cure Relay For Life

  8. Relay for Life Relay for life was fun. I even enjoyed walking around selling raffle tickets and snow cones.

  9. This is me checking in for Relay for Life. Don’t I look ready to find a cure?

  10. Snow Cones! Snow Cones! Snow Cones! Do YOU want one?

  11. It was my first time playing monster pong and it was great. My team made it to the final round, but we lost. I know that if you are not first, your last, but in this case we were all number one because we were “ponging” for a cure.

  12. One, Two, Three…Puuullllll! Right now I'm standing up, but about 10 seconds later my entire side was laying on each other in our tug-of-war defeat.

  13. My experience with service-learning Service-learning was wonderful. I never knew that working could be so much fun. While participating in the special projects around Valdosta, I learned much about the city and the citizens living here. Participating in these different projects made me want to do more. It made me feel like my projects were only a sample of what I could and needed to do. I love service-learning, especially being surrounded by wonderful faces that enjoy lending a hand as much as I do.
