How Do You Doodle? • Starting tomorrow you will spend 2 class periods developing a small doodle on scratch, then you will be given good paper to begin your project. • You may start in pencil but the finished work will be in pen/sharpie • Your doodle should fill the entire space given to you. • Some of the areas should be extremely detailed, other areas can be more spread out • Allow your mind to wander. Write, draw, scribble while you are thinking. • Use textures, lines and line weights to create interest.
Summary • Suggestions for your summary: • How do the vocabulary words relate to what we’ve been doing in class so far? • Do you doodle on your own? • What are ‘elements of art’ and how many are there? Which ones do we know now? • Describe a doodle you just saw that you liked best.
