  1. העיר העברית הראשונה נחום גלבוע מנציח את התפתחותה של תל-אביב מימיה הראשונים בסמטאות יפו, מהן יצאו תושביה הראשונים, לנווה צדק – השכונה הראשונה של העיר העברית. רחוב הרצל, אותו חוצה הרכבת לירושלים כשברקע - הבניין היפה של גימנסיה הרצליה שאיננו עוד. מאוחר יותר העיר מתפתחת – נוסף רחוב אלנבי וכיכר מגן דוד אדום הידוע. נחום גלבוע מתאר משהו מהווי העיר: "הפרלמנט", החצוצרה המכריזה על כניסת השבת והמרפסות – פינת המנוחה מחום היום תוך הנאה מהבריזה הימית. לקראת הסוף משתף אותנו נחום גלבוע בחגיגות חנוכת נמל תל-אביב – המפעל הציוני החשוב. סוגרת את המצגת פנינת הטבע והנופש של העיר – הירקון.
