Mark 16:1-4 1And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him. 2And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun. 3And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre? 4And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.

  3. For nearly 2000 years people have witnessed that Christ is alive. It is no easier of harder to believe now than it was then

  4. 1. We spend our lives anointing dead things…

  5. The only reason the dead need to smell sweet is because people who are alive hang around them.

  6. 1.Stop anointing dead things

  7. 2. We have a big problem… the stone

  8. 2. The Stone has been rolled away!

  9. 3. There is better news

  10. The stone is only relevant on the false premise of death!

  11. I’ve got some GOOD NEWS for you!!! Jesus is alive!

  12. 3. God’s Got Something New For You To Do!

  13. LIVE! Live the abundant life!

  14. Jesus has something new for us to do: Jesus commands us to live the abundant life and share the good news that abundant life is available for everyone!
