Provost’s Remarks • Virginia Tech is committed to increasing its diversity and achieving the educational benefits that result from diversity. • Key Activities that Contribute To Diversity • Undergraduate Admissions • Student Academic Support Activities • Scholarships and Financial Aid • Federally Sponsored Projects • The university will continue to comply with the requirements for participation in federally sponsored programs that seek to promote diversity. • We will not impose limitations beyond those required by the federal grant. • We anticipate that federal sponsoring agencies may modify their requirements in response to recent legal changes.
