  3. Remember: à + le =au Au restaurant au cinéma au parc au stade au zoo au centre commercial au musée au théatre à la plage à la piscine à la bibliothèque à la librarie à la poste à la montagne à la mer à la compagne à la banque à la Maison de Jeunes (MJC) Où vas-tu?

  4. “aller” used in common greetings • Ca va? • Comment vas-tu? Pas mal, merci. Et toi? • Comment allez-vous? Je vais tres bien, merci. Et vous?

  5. Des exemples: • Je vais au café et mon mari va au bureau. • Tu vas au boum avec ton copain? • Nous n’allons pas à Paris pendant l’été. • Vous allez au café après l’église pour une tasse du café. • Elles vontà la plage pour leurs vacances.

Qu’est-ce que tu vas faire? • You can use a form of the verb “aller” + the infinitive of another verb to say what you are going to do in the future. • Qu’est-ce que tu vas faire, demain? • Je vais faire du vélo. • Vous allez faire quoi, ce week-end? • Nous allons regarder un nouveau film. • To say that you are not going to do something in the future, put NE and PAS around aller. • Il ne va pas danser

Change the following present tense sentences to the futur proche! • To have - avoir • J’AI DEUX ENFANTS. • JE VAIS AVOIR DEUX ENFANTS. • To speak – parler • Aujourd’hui, nous parlons français. • Demain, nous allons parler français. • To watch – regarder • Aujourd’hui, vous regardez la télé. • Demain …vous allez regarder la télé • To sell – vendre • Aujourd’hui, ils vendent de la glace. • Demain…. Ils vont vendre de la glace

Transformation(present to future) • To be - être • Aujourd’hui tu es en retard. • Demain, tu vas être en retard. • To do – faire • Ce matin, Marc fait du vélo. • Demain, il va faire du vélo • To buy – acheter • Mes parents achètent une nouvelle voiture. • Mes parents vont acheter une nouvelle voiture. • To wait (for) – attendre • Nous attendons nos amis. • Nous allons attendre nos amis.
