Teaming Online and Best Practices at Stevens Institute of Technology • Online teams • Teams present in a round robin format to allow everyone to participate • Keeping it exciting • Engage the students • Lots of laughs • Incorporate zingers – keep them looking for what will happen next (pop-up questions, polls, thumbnail videos, etc.) • Incorporate video (themes) • Letting the students drive • totally hands off – the Professor doesn’t need to be involved • Involving industry professionals • Invite guest speakers & reviewers

Long Range Plans at Stevens • Adding more concurrent Interwise seats • Hosting of Alumni chapters, clubs, professional organizational societies, and more…. • Better penetration in regions outside of the tri-state area • Hybrid courses involving onsite technical labs incorporated into traditional e-learning • Biotech classes using local hospital facilities • Remote labs for engineering courses • webcams in labs (example: the “Block on a Spring”) • Mirror campus – current 20% to grow to 60% • More undergraduate courses
