Expenditure 2010-2011 Administration costs include: Bank charges Insurance Legal expenses Magazines, books and periodicals Membership fees and subscriptions Photocopying Postage Printing and stationary Recruitment & advertisement Telephone & fax Auditors remuneration includes both external and internal audits. Both functions are outsourced. Even though AG has always signed off on audit reports, normally audit conducted by other external audit companies. First year that AG conducted audit themselves. Building maintenance & utilities include: Cleaning Consumables Lease rentals on operating lease Maintenance on equipment & building Security Utilities Consulting fees Next slide Depreciation on building, computer equipment & office equipment. Amortisation of computer software. Employees cost includes all costs relating to employment of staff. Staff welfare includes staff development, bursaries & training. IT expenses. Function is outsourced to external providers. Remuneration of CHE council & HEQC members. Renovations & relocation. As a result of not following all National Treasury regulation regarding the renovations started in 2008/2009, the AG has raised the irregular expenditure on the audit report. Last phase & payments made in first half of the 2010/2011 financial year. Travel and subsistence include local & overseas travel. Venue catering continues to decline as a result of the in-house use of our own facilities and ending of the first audit cycle.
