Program stats for July Cumulative Outcomes 1,914 Service Members/Veterans and their families have been served Homelessness has been prevented for 94 at-risk families and 740 homeless families secured permanent housing 222 individuals were successfully engaged in treatment for a mental health or adjustment problem 3,302 referrals were made to community and military resources 349 program participants obtained employment $330,860.94 has been distributed in emergency financial assistance Since assuming the financial assistance portion of LD 2131 (May 2019) we have provided over $65,000 on financial assistance. On average we provide $809 per case

Sustaining Donors • By becoming a sustaining donor you will: • Receive a monthly newsletter informing you of the success you’re enabling • Receive a Veterans Count bumper sticker to show your support for Maine’s Veterans • Get special discounts to Veterans Count events • *Members of the Presidents Council will also receive a Veterans Count lapel pin Independence Level: $15 / month = $180 annually Provides a week’s worth of groceries for a military family or clothes for a job interview and first few weeks at work before the first pay check arrives Liberty Level: $20 / month = $240 annually Buys a month’s worth of heating oil for a warm home or 2 weeks of childcare for a military family Freedom Level: $50 / month = $600 annually Pays for a care inspection and basic automotive repairs to ensure a service member can get to work reliably or provides 2 months of prescription medication for a veteran without insurance Partner in Patriotism: $67 / month = $804 annually Covers the average cost to provide care to one veteran President’s Council: $85 / month = $1,020 annually Covers a security deposit to help a military family in transition secure stable housing or a month’s worth of child care services

  15. Over the Edge 2019 (Ripple Effect) For Ripple Effect had tremendous support with this fundraiser. Board turnover significantly hurt their ability to recruit people to rappel.
