  3. Writing the proposal • Introduction • Objective of your project • Methodology • Implementation with schedule • Resources required

  4. Introduction • The Introduction should: start with a very brief (1-2 paragraph) general introduction to the topic at hand, • review any previous research and theory in your discipline that is relevant to your specific idea, • argue that the previous body of knowledge is incomplete or flawed in a way that your project can answer, • describe the general methodological approach that you will be taking to address the “gap” in the literature, • and end with a list of specific hypotheses and predictions that are supported by your interpretation of the existing literature. • The Introduction should be focused on explaining and justifying the rationale behind your study in particular, not on rambling through all the literature relevant to the topic (probably the most common mistake in this part of the proposal). Include the problem statement.

  5. Objective • What is your project objective? • Describe the scope of your project • Describe how you are going to achieve your objective

  6. Methodology • Describe Methodology in future tense because it describes the work you haven’t done • Describe the procedure of your project such as design, the analysis technique, experiment procedure, measurement technique and any simulation involvement.

  7. Implementation with schedule • You can present the project implementation in the form of flow chart to show how you plan your project • Gant chart to show the schedule of your project

  8. Resources required • You have to list down all the equipment, software tools and components that are required in your project. • The budgeting is also important

Methodology • Approach method should be presented clearly of its outline and justification • Describe the technology, software tools, analysis techniques, measurement techniques, equipment used etc. • Your methodology should also tele with your objective- how you are going to achieve your objective

  15. Results and discussion • Present your results either in graph form or table which able is convenience. • Analysis and interpret the results • Draw the conclusion
