  2. Introduction • I play basketball for the Eltham Wildcats because lots of my friends play. • I like playing for the Wildcats because team sports are fun and it is our local club.

  3. Wildcat History • Eltham Wildcats started 48 years ago in 1964. • The club is the biggest junior basketball club in the world!

  4. How I became a Wildcat • I was introduced to Eltham Wildcats in Aussie Hoops. They taught us how to dribble, lay ups and games like in and out. • The Aussie Hoops coaches were the order kids from Eltham Wildcats.

  5. Wildcats and the community • Eltham Wildcats are important to the community because it helps the local kids do healthy activities. • It stops kids from getting bored and doing silly things.

  6. Healthy Activity • The Premiers Active Challenge includes 30 minutes of exercise per day. • Shooting hoops for 30 minutes keeps you fit and healthy.

  7. Wildcats and our community • Eltham Wildcats support the Wesley Mission Food for Families Appeal, and the Trick or Eat campaign event • They also run Primary School clinics that involve kids in sport for their own benefits.
