Oppsummert: Afrika at large(sammenlignet med alt annet enn Vesten): • Relativt høy vekst som er bred og robust – omfatter nesten alle land og en mengde sektorer • Relativt god makroøkonomisk politikk • Kraftig nedgang i krig og voldelige konflikter, relativt lite kriminalitet, sosial stabilitet • Relativt mye åpenhet, demokrati (tross flere nylige tilbakeslag)

  10. Oppsummert: Afrika at large(sammenlignet med alt annet enn Vesten): • Ikke alltid næringsvennlige rammevilkår, men gode policyer og stadig forbedring • Korrupsjon «midt på treet» • Svakt, ineffektivt statsapparat • CSR er ikke vanskeligere enn andre steder, men noen spesielle utfordringer, særlig på naturressurser
